Focus of this procurement is for Amtrak to obtain the services of an On-Site Medical (“OSM”) contractor who can support construction workers, who will be employed by multiple third-party contractors (CMAR Contractors) and Amtrak personnel. The primary role of the OSM Contractor is to provide first aid, emergency response, and to determine whether the worker can remain onsite or needs to be sent off-site for treatment. Treatment will be limited to first aid. The OSM personnel assigned to this work must be professionally certified to perform this work in Baltimore, Maryland. The level of service will vary over the construction period but generally include day and night shift coverage by one medically trained and certified persons on each shift for 5, 6 or 7 days per week. 24/7 coverage may be required during certain phases of the construction.
