1. Microfilm Processor that meets or exceeds the following specifications: a. Capable of developing 35 mm and 16 mm polyester-base microfilm b. Utilizes at least four tanks, consisting of: i. At least two rinse water baths for removing residual chemicals ii. One developer tank iii. One fixer tank c. Ability to connect to a cold-water supply. d. Features an internal temperature control capable of heating chemicals and rinse water to 32-42° C (89.6-107.6° F) and maintaining that temperature during operation. e. Offers the following adjustable settings for users: i. Chemical and water temperature control during operation. ii. Adjustable processing speed for running microfilm through the processor f. Designed for easy cleaning and/or replacement of rollers. g. Effectively develops microfilm using: i. Fujifilm 140 Plus Developer and Fujifilm 141 Fixer chemistry to ensure the use of existing inventory of chemicals and supplies. ii. Staude Eco-Developer Type 15 and Fixer Type 46, or equivalent, to allow the Archives to transition to developer/fixer that has fewer hazardous safety precautions than the Fujifilm developer/fixer 2. Contractor provided on-site installation, training, and support for up to three days. 3. A minimum 9-month on-site maintenance and service contract. 4. A minimum 12-month warranty on all parts.
