1. MassCEC Empower Grant Program; Scope of Work (a) Identify potential facilities for incorporation into a cloud-based microgrid within the City of Chelsea. (b) Engage facility stakeholders and community members to collect feedback for use in developing the best approach for facility incorporation into the microgrid. (c) Conduct IGAs on selected facilities and develop reports detailing measures to successfully implement microgrid components and other measures, including (but not limited to) pro-formas detailing cost-estimate, cashflow, operations and maintenance. (d) Participate in periodic check-in phone calls for EmPower grantees facilitated by MassCEC. (e) Assist in submitting a final report to MassCEC that summarizes the Project outcome and lessons learned and participate in a debrief phone call. (f) The consultant will manage project coordination, grant reporting, monthly progress calls, executive and interdepartmental coordination. (g) Partner or possibly subcontract with a community-based organization to provide on the ground engagement. (h) Provide graphic design and communication services for outreach, educational and marketing materials.
