● Enhance STAB member interpretation and understanding of GHG modeling, model trends and assumptions, and other topics relevant to the STAB’s purpose and duties via technical memos and brief presentations to the STAB. ● Actively participate and provide expertise in STAB meetings (including SubCommittee or Ad-Hoc Committee meetings); executive sessions, and proceedings to provide expertise that may be important to the successful advancement of Rhode Island’s greenhouse gas reduction strategies. Please note that the STAB (as a full body) meets, at minimum, every other month during the calendar year. These meetings are generally held in-person in Providence, Rhode Island, however, the Council can provide for virtual participation by consultants and the public, and vendors should consider this capability when preparing their proposal and budget. ● Review policies on a range of issues germane to the STAB’s duties including, but not limited to, Greenhouse Gas Reduction plan development, climate resilience, and climate change science and research summaries.
