The Division of Water Resources (DWR) requires the purchase of Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCP) Discharge Measurement Equipment. Additional equipment is needed in order for the division to fulfill requirements in support of water administration. The ADCP Discharge Measurement Equipment must meet or exceed the following minimum requirements: ● The system shall be self contained, light weight (less than 15lbs) and portable which will allow the user to transport the system long distance. ● The system must utilize Broadband signal processing. ● The system must be able to bottom track in 2.5” of water ● The system must be able to water track in 6” of water ● The system must utilize the four beams transducer configuration which allows the user to compute “error velocity” which is an additional means to quickly verify data quality. ● The system must be compatible with QA/QC software that insures integrity of ADCP data in the field or office such as QView. ● The unit shall include the section-by-section software. ● The unit must come complete including any and all software required to post-process the data. ● The unit must operate on AA batteries, which are easily obtainable and field replaceable. ● The manufacturer must offer 24 hour 7 day a week telephone support ● The manufacturer must be ISO-9001-2000 certified to ensure the highest level of quality.
