- New service from Peninsula Light and Power including associated metering and interconnections to allow the solar system to be automatically disconnected from the grid in the event of a power outage or in response to a Power Utility grid event. - New service switchgear/switchboard - Underground distribution (conduit and wire) between solar panels and distribution equipment including all trenching via vac truck. - Distribution panels to consolidate the generated power. - Ballasted solar panel system (approximate 1250kW of solar panels) including associated inverters, mounting hardware and accessories. Ballasted system shall be selected to prevent damage to the liner covering the landfill. In general, the ballasted solar panel support system will rest on the surface of the landfill with minimal disruption to the landfill cap. - Cloud based software solution to monitor the solar generation with associated communications connection to the site for a functional monitoring system. The software solution shall include a minimum 5-year license including associated commissioning and support. The project shall include all necessary design work, submittals, shop drawings, and calculations required for the Owner’s submittal review procedure. Once the appropriate submittal review designation has been provided by the Owner, the Contractor will purchase and provide the above indicated items for a complete, functional grid-tied solar generation system.
