• The antenna and positioner will be placed outdoors on a building’s roof without a radome. They should be made of materials that can withstand strong winds and harsh winter weather conditions without deterioration • The earth station antenna should be a 3.0m to 3.7m parabolic antenna (dual polarization) • The antenna (with feed included) should be capable of transmitting and receiving in the Ku band, specifically 15.7 to 17.7 GHz • The positioner should support a 3.0 to 3.7m parabolic antenna • The positioner should allow movement of the antenna along 2 axes: XY or azimuth and elevation • Unlimited azimuth rotation (360 degrees) would be ideal. We would also like to be able to sweep through directly upward for elevation • Antenna and Positioner should be controllable in real time (via LAN or other method) from a controller which should have a robust Graphical User Interface (GUI) to access via a computer • The GUI should also be able to interface with other radar components like Signal Generator, Signal Analyzer, High Power Amplifier (HPA), Low Nosie Amplifier (LNA) and allow for changing those system parameters from the GUI
