1. Remove existing 6" steam and 3" condensate piping from vault to vault. We have removed some fiberglass insulation off the steam piping. The condensate piping has no insulation on it. 2. Install new 10" steam and 6" condensate Perma-Pipe or approved equal from vault to vault. Contractor will need to work Perma-Pipe to verify all anchors, expansion joints needed, slope, connections within the vault, and all digging, sand back fill, and compaction. 3. The West end has a 6” steam and 3” condensate pipe in the vault you will be connecting to. 4. The East end has 10” Steam valve and 6” condensate valve and piping you will be connecting to. 5. New Velan or Crane 150 class gate valves or Owner approved equivalent are required in each vault on both the steam and condensate line. 6. There will be approximately 10 feet each of 6” and 3” that will need to be insulated in the West vault. 7. Insulation blankets will need to be installed on new valves. 8. Include insulation for existing exposed piping in both vaults. 9. There is a section of street replacement near the West vault. Patch road back in to match existing. 10. Provide an alternate price for a Performance Bond. 11. Site safety will be the responsibility of the contractor.
