3.01 Scope of Work Contractor will: A. Collaborate with the NDDPI ND CLIMBS administrative team on the design and ongoing delivery of the Leadership Improvement Network. B. Design and deliver literacy leadership network virtual and asynchronous learning and engagement opportunities with evidence-based content aligned with the science of reading. Contractor will be required to complete asynchronous training for adding a course to the ND platform and collaborate with ND Educational Hub directors to complete course publication according to guidelines and course templates. C. Identify resources and tools relevant to network participant learning and collaborate with ND CLIMBS resource website developer to post for public access. D. Collaborate with NDDPI ND CLIMBS admin team on the development of a leadership confidence survey and utilize results to inform the network support content and activities E. Differentiate support and content for elementary and secondary principals. F. Provide in-person learning opportunities as needs are determined. G. Develop and implement an improvement cycle with goal-setting structure for individual building leader improvement. H. Organize and facilitate collaborative events for observation and network learning of evidencebased approaches on sites geographically accessible to all grant leaders equally over the implementation period. I. Track and report participant engagement in virtual, in-person and asynchronous events and opportunities. J. Offer educational continuing credit(s) option. K. Design learning to meet the needs of principals where they are in their impact on literacy instruction including: data-driven decision making, facilitation of team collaboration, observation and feedback practices, implementing high-quality instructional materials, literacy plan development, Multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) structured to inform instruction, intervention, and individual student needs; establishing coaching models and feedback loops for literacy instruction improvement, understanding and implementing family engagement to improve conditions for learning. L. Determine baseline and comprehensive indicators for literacy leaders' knowledge and delivery of high-quality literacy leadership. Provide professional development to enable each leader to achieve baseline knowledge by December 31, 2026. Provide ongoing professional development to support continued growth toward comprehensive, effective leadership implementation. M. To the extent possible, differentiate and customize content for participants needs and interests. Provide opportunities and guidance for principals to work with the tools, resources, programs and practices already in place in their building to the extent that they align with the science of reading and evidence-based research. Provide opportunities and guidance for principals to learn how to ensure all tools, resources, programs and practices are aligned with evidence and the science of reading. N. Monitor and provide evidence of project progress reports quarterly and annually
