The DPW is seeking bids to purchase interlocking contere blocks to be use in the construction of loose material storage bins. Delivery of Interlocking Concrete blocks shall be to the DPW Facility located at 18 Industrial Drive. Holden, MA Acceptable Dimensions: o 2 feet (H) x 2 feet (W) x 6 feet (L) [Full] o 2 feet (H) x 2 feet (W) x 4 feet (L) o 2 feet (H) x 2 feet (W) x 3 feet (L) [Half] o 2 feet (H) x 2 feet (W) x 2 feet (L) Material: • High-strength, durable concrete with a minimum compressive strength of 3,000 PSI Design: • Interlocking system (V-interlock, Dimples, or Other) for stable stacking without the need for mortar or adhesives. • Blocks should have lifting anchors or recessed lifting points for easy handling and placement. Finish: • Smooth or slightly textured surface to ensure proper interlocking and structural stability. • Uniform in size and shape Usage: • Suitable for retaining walls, bulk material storage, barriers, or other similar applications. • Capable of being stacked four (4) units high
