Licensed Psychologist will provide supervision as required in KRS Chapter 319, 201 KAR 26:171, and 201 KAR 26:190 for one employee of the Kentucky Employee Assistance Program (KEAP). The supervision shall meet all requirements of the State Board of Psychology, which may not be limited to the aforementioned statute and regulations. KEAP provides assessment and referral services for state employees with personal concerns such as family issues, emotional distress, alcoholism or drug abuse, financial concerns or job stress challenges. The KEAP employees are Licensed Psychological Associates and require supervision one (1) time per month, plus consultation time for emergencies (not to exceed 4 hours per year). Supervision shall occur at the office of the Kentucky Employee Assistance Program, located in the Kentucky State Office Building at 501 High Street, Frankfort, Kentucky, sometime Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM, EST. KEAP shall provide appropriate space and facilities for said supervision to occur and shall work with the successful provider to schedule supervisions in an efficient manner that meets the needs of both KEAP and said provider. Tentatively the services required under this procurement shall commence on July 1, 2025, provided that the Commonwealth recognizes the requirement in 201 KAR 26:171, Section 1, that supervisory relationships receive prior Board approval. Services shall not commence without first meeting this requirement in Board regulations.
