SCOPE OF SERVICES The Town of Lexington’s Recreation and Community Programs Department seeks to contract with a qualified vendor to provide services for its outdoor aquatics facility. The following specifications are for on-call pool repair and pre and post-season maintenance and operations associated with the facility. The initial term is for a 12-month contract from contract execution through March 31, 2026. Two optional one-year terms may be exercised for a potential three-year contract. Optional years may be exercised at the Town’s sole discretion. Preseason work must be completed between April 1st and May 15th of each contract year and postseason work must be completed between September 30th and October 15th of each contract year. GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS On-Call Maintenance: General specification for on-call maintenance may include but are not limited to: 1) Providing 24 hour on-call repair and emergency services for the facility’s equipment on an asrequested basis. 2) Staff available to include pool technicians, plumbers, welders, and electricians that can respond within two hours to an emergency at any time. The Town’s Department of Public Facilities is responsible for any plumbing need associated with the aquatics buildings (restrooms, etc.). Plumbing services under this contract would be limited to anything directly related to the pool itself. 3) Providing an answering service available for after-hours emergencies, including weekends and holidays. 4) Maintenance services to include: mechanical, electrical and instrumentation services, including but not limited to the filtration, circulation, chemical balancing in accordance with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. 5) Any findings, proposed repairs and/or any other miscellaneous additional repairs will be submitted in writing and reported to the Town of Lexington Director of Recreation and Community Programs...
