• The conditionally excluded solvent-contaminated wipes will need to be picked up and laundered once a month from Salina UTES, Fort Riley MATES, and the Topeka DPW-Environmental Warehouse. Once laundered, rags will need returned to original pick-up locations, during the following month's pick up event, or sooner. • Bidder will use a cleaning method appropriate for removing a variety of oils, greases and solvents from the rags without causing undue damage to the rag. • Conditionally excluded solvent-contaminated wipes need visually inspected by both the laundering service and the maintenance personnel to ensure rags are being returned to the facilities clean. Facility personnel reserve the right to refuse rags at drop off if rags do not meet the requirements listed above. • Laundering services should provide documentation or receipts to accurately track pickups and drop off services. • KSARNG Shall provide all red rags to maintenance facilities to be laundered as part of this contract. • KSARNG Shall provide appropriate approved containers for transportation of solvent contaminated wipes to / from laundering services. • Billing should be conducted monthly, broken down for each of the three pick up locations (Salina UTES, Fort Riley MATES, and the Topeka DPW-Environmental Warehouse) and sent to the Hazardous Waste Program Manager for payment.
