ANTICIPATED SCOPE OF WORK The City anticipates the qualified firm will be responsible for the following activities: • Collaborate with city staff to determine site-specific needs that promote optimized design with attention to available space and budgetary constraints. • The design shall meet the current adopted ICC codes relating to the 2018 ICC Building and Fire Codes regulations, Athens Stormwater regulations, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, and NFPA 1581 Fire Department Infectious Control Program. • As much as practical, the design should conform to the guidelines identified in the U.S. Fire Administration Publication FA168, Safety and Health Considerations for the Design of Fire and Emergency Medical Services Stations and the guidelines identified in Chapter 14 of the NFPA Fire Protection Handbook, (20th ed.).
