The facility is open for inspection from 8:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday. • An alternate bid for three offices off of the main lobby will also be accepted. Contractors shall obtain measurements while examining the work site prior to bidding. • The area that the Owner desires to demo and install new flooring is the ball room area at the North Augusta Community Center. The ball room is octagon in shape and the bid proposal shall consider the following: o Contractor shall demo existing base molding, carpet, tile and hardwood and dispose of spent materials. o Contractor shall supply and install the commercial grade LVT where existing carpet (including stage), tile, wheelchair ramp, and hardwood currently exists. o Commercial Grade LVT/LVP planks is the preferred material with the Owner selecting style and tone of the proposed product. Shaw Terrain II (20 mil wear layer thickness) or equivalent is required. o LVT/LVP shall be applied via the direct glue method. A floating floor installation is not desired. o Contractor shall install 4” cove base molding where existing cove base molding was removed. Owner will select tone of the molding. o Contractor shall supply and install rubber stair treads and risers where existing steps (entryways & stage) exist.
