1. Review existing documents including a water and sediment study performed on portions of the lake in March of 2023 and Phase I report. 2. CCFC will be performing the majority of project with in house staff and equipment. CCFC will be purchasing a long reach excavator (LRE). A 5’ maximum dredge depth has been recommended. Ideally the project will happen in one location from start to finish and then move on to the next location. All spoils will remain on CCFC properties. Consultant(s) to provide the following: a) Details of vegetation to be removed and best management practices. b) Plan set describing areas to be dredged with LRE. c) Details of best management practices in order to move and place LRE and other heavy equipment around and near the lake shore including use of protective mats or other objects to distribute the weight of the LRE. d) Details of potential locations for bank armoring to be installed. e) Details of spoils location(s). How spoils are to be maintained prior to being moved to a different site. CCFC will be providing a rubber tire loader and dump truck. Details will include but not be limited to: ground preparation of spoil site that facilitates rubber tire loader and truck access, drainage, sediment control, recommended length of time needed for spoils to dry before moving via rubber tire loader and truck and any other best management practices. f) Details of how and where spoils are to be used at final location. g) Details of site restoration and re-vegetation. Plant list TBD. h) Details of temporary fencing to be used in order to keep the public out of work area(s). 3. Plan set for sediment removal with LRE and dump truck in described locations as part of ongoing lake management program. Site preparation (ground fortification) that will accommodate heavy equipment and dump truck. Locations to be provided by CCFC. 4. As of this writing, all permitting will be handled in house, but is subject to change. 5. Onsite project management. Consultant to be onsite once every two weeks or as requested by CCFC staff.
