The town of Saint Albans has thirteen guardrail locations where maintenance, repair, and replacement are required. See attached sheet for a description and location of guardrails for improvements. The scope of work for this project includes the following tasks, but is not limited to: 1. Removal and disposal of all damaged materials. 2. Installation and repair of listed guardrails or sections of guardrails. The contractor will be allowed to reuse existing guardrail if they are in good condition. Additionally, the use of used posts and guardrail sections will be allowed. 3. Installation of butterfly reflective markers, as needed. 4. The work generally consists of replacing and/or resetting posts, re-bolting rail sections in place, and replacing damaged rail and posts. 5. This work shall be completed by July 31, 2025.
