(a) The Contractor shall provide mowing, trimming, trash cleanup, small tree/brush removal and seeding services as described in this scope of work. The following details shall be typical for each maintenance cycle unless otherwise noted in the enclosed listing entitled Storm Water Management Facilities. (b) Mowing and Trimming • Per maintenance cycle the Contractor shall mow and/or trim all areas of each storm pond to include, but not be limited to, the flat area(s), access easement from street, internal banks, dam wall in its entirety, and weir wall outfall area. Dams include the entire earthen dam from bottom of internal bank to bottom of external bank. Weir outfall areas shall include a 20-foot wide by 30-foot long area. • Flat areas shall be mowed except in marsh areas or wet ponds. If a “dry pond” is wet at the time of maintenance cycle, the pond shall be mowed within one week of dry conditions. • The Contractor shall mow a 15-foot wide path along all access easements. • The Contractor shall trim on both sides of all fences, along all rip rap, under all large trees, along weir walls, around storm inlet/outlet pipes and other structures within the storm water management facility. • In marsh and wet ponds the Contractor shall mow and trim down to the wet or marsh areas. (c) Trash Cleanup • The Contractor shall pickup and remove all trash from each storm water management facility prior to the maintenance cycle. A small amount of trash (under five gallons) shall be anticipated per facility per maintenance cycle by the Contractor, however excessive trash shall be immediately reported to the Town representative. Excessive trash removal shall be the responsibility of the Town.
