QUANTITY: One (1) DESCRIPTION: New current model Rear mounted 3 section hydraulic telescoping boom 45’ sheave height 15,000# turret mounted winch Paint inside and out of all boom parts with powder coat paint process and color to match chassis Fiberglass line body Installed on LES supplied chassis by manufacturer or LES approved distributor and to comply with all current applicable OSHA, ANSI and DOT standards. Unit to be certified at 46KV (Category C). DETAILS: DERRICK: The boom shall be three sections, the second and third stages hydraulically operated individually with the third stage constructed of fiberglass and structurally capable of lifting to rated hydraulic capacity of the derrick in any given position and capable of being certified to work at 46KV (Category C). With boom fully extended, it shall be capable of handling a load of 16,050 lbs. minimum at 10’ radius. The boom shall be continuous rotation. Boom stowage shall be provided with a protection system to prevent the operator from placing excessive down force on boom stowage bracket. Hydraulic overload protection shall be provided for all derrick functions and hydraulic side load protection for all rotation functions. Elevation is to be from 80 degrees above horizontal to -20 degrees below horizontal. Anchor driving mode to be at radio remote to allow the boom to automatically follow the anchor when being installed. Two (2) additional boom load charts to be supplied. The exact mounting location of extra charts on body packs to be determined at pre-paint inspection. POLE GRABBERS: Pole grabbers, hydraulically powered, attached to a flared boom tip that is easily transferrable from second to third stage. All grabber functions to have double pilot operated check valves and tilt interlock that prevents the boom from extending until the grabbers are articulated to the full up position. BUCKET: One (1) fiberglass pin-on bucket, 24” x 24” x 42” with brake, interior/exterior step and provisions for self-stowing in a horizontal position on boom, minimum 300 lb. capacity. No liner. Bucket to be pinned on either side of boom tip. CONTROLS: Lower control station will be mounted on the street side of the turret and equipped with all of the capability of running all functions at this site with truck engine start/stop and throttle control. No riding seat Wireless radio control, unrestricted remote operation, proportional control and simultaneous control of all derrick functions in close proximity of like units. Also provide docking station bracket for radio controls. Two (2) batteries, safety belt/harness, battery charger (mounted in cab) and interface cable, if applicable. High/low speed function to be at riding seat and radio remote controls and pole pulling functions. NOTE: Bidder to provide pricing that is separate from main pricing for an optional wireless radio control (transmitter) and preprogrammed receiver for this unit.
