The City of Aiken is soliciting proposals in written, non-electronic form for a single Certified Public Accounting firm to perform an audit of the general purpose financial statements of the City for fiscal years ending June 30, 2025, 2026, and 2027. The audit of the financial statements of the City of Aiken, South Carolina will be made in accordance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards and will include such auditing procedures as are necessary in order to express an opinion as to the fairness of presentation of such financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. The audits must also be performed in accordance with Government Auditing Standards, issued by the Comptroller General of the United States.
