The proposed improvements include, but are not limited to, the furnishing of all labor for the removal of the existing PCC roadway pavement for the areas as shown in the plans, granular subbase material, crushed rock stabilization if needed, geogrid materials if needed, patching of the roadway with a PCC pavement section, reset all existing utility surface features to finish grade, reconstruction of sidewalk at the intersection including ADA ramp construction as shown in the plans, topsoil and seeding, and erosion control. Surplus excavated material such as soil, rock, broken concrete, asphalt, roadside debris and similar materials shall become the property of the contractor to be disposed of in a legal manner outside of the limits of the job site at a location chosen by the Contractor and approved by the Engineer, at the Contractor’s expense. Work shall be confined to the street right-of-way, easements, and City-owned land, as may be indicated on plans. The Contractor shall not unnecessarily encroach onto private property without express permission from the adjacent property owners. The work shall be conducted in such a manner as to minimize any and all damage.
