The Seattle Police Department seeks proposals from experienced and qualified advertising firms to design, implement and manage a comprehensive social media and advertising campaign aimed at recruiting and hiring police officers. The majority of the content for the campaign will be provided by the Seattle Police Department, new content may be created upon request. The Seattle Police Department faces a critical need to enhance public safety by increasing its police force. The City is launching a recruitment campaign to attract high-quality candidates for police officer positions through targeted social media, digital, and print (e.g. banners, posters) advertising. The successful firm will also create a female focused marketing campaign to drive SPD’s commitment to the 30 X 30 Initiative. The ultimate goal is to drive awareness, interest, and applications from qualified individuals.
