Metro Water Services is seeking a highly qualified and experienced RNG Company that will design, finance, construct, own, operate, maintain, and manage a new biogas gas to renewable natural gas (RNG) facility for pipeline injection. The term of the contract will be twenty (20) years from the projected commissioning of the RNG Facility. The RNG Company will receive biogas from the Central Biosolids Facility located at 1810 Cement Plant Road, Nashville, TN. MWS will lease approximately 25,000 square feet of land to the Company for the term of the contract. The land will be used by the RNG Company to construction the RNG Facility. The RNG Facility will include a Biogas Conditioning Facility and an RNG Interconnection Facility. The RNG Company will design, finance, construct, own, operate, maintain and manage the RNG Facility. The RNG company will be responsbile for acquiring and maintaining all permits and agreements required for the construction and operation of the RNG Facility. The RNG Company will own and have title to the renewable natural gas and any environmental attributes and credits created by the Project. The RNG company will be expected to resell the RNG and monetize the Renewable Identification Numbers created by the resale of the RNG. The RNG company will provide MWS a royalty payment as a percentage of the net proceeds generated by the RNG Facility.
