The City of Waltham invites you to submit a bid for the award of a contract to provide transportation services for the Waltham Public Schools. The Contractor shall furnish such transportation services including personnel, supervision, vehicles, drivers, equipment, and other services required to transport all students to and from the Waltham Public Schools and other designated institutions. The basic contract calls for the Contractor to provide school bus services to students for extra-curricular athletic events / field trips or other extracurricular travel requirements involving school bus transportation for Waltham Public Schools for the 2025-2026 school year through the 2027-2028 school year. The Contractor shall provide the necessary vehicles. The basic contract calls for the Contractor to own and operate 77-or larger passenger buses and/or 28-or larger passenger school buses. No vehicle shall be used in the execution of the contract which is more than 60 months old at any time during the contract.
