In FY25, OHD received approval under the SPR Fund (SP225B4G) to procure specialized surveying technology. This technology, Mobile-based LiDAR hardware is a specialized vehicle-mounted geomatic data collection tool that allows OHD to collect survey-grade LiDAR data at highway speeds. Data is collected at a frequency of more than one million points per second. Based on this, the data sets associated with this hardware are very large and require specialized computing hardware to be able to effectively process the data. Using these computers, the Plats and Surveys Division (PSD) will be able to process, register, model, decimate, extract, store, and create CADD planimetric and topographic features that will be used as the foundation for large transportation projects. Without this hardware, PSD will be unable to effectively process data collected using this technology. 6 ViewSonic VX3276-4K-MHD 32 Inch 4K UHD Monitor with Ultra-Thin Bezels, HDR10 HDMI and Display Port for Home and Office; 9 Samsung 870 QVO MZ-778T0B-SSD-8TB-SATAA 6Gv/s MFG#MZ-77Q8T0B/AM
