Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. The Department of Social Services, Domestic Violence Shelters and Services (DVSS) program is required to partner with the state coalition on domestic violence as stated in 45 CFR 1370.10. The federal Family Violence Prevention and Services Act (FVPSA) grant office specifically approved the Missouri Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence (MOCADSV) as the designated provider of domestic and sexual violence training, technical assistance, and program monitoring project services. MOCADSV offers a proprietary online training platform that allows users to register for trainings, access online training modules, and other educational resources. In addition, MOCADSV is the sole entity available in Missouri with the expertise and capacity to assist the Department of Social Services with quality assurance, technical assistance and expertise, training services, consultation services, education, publications and online resources to assist victims of crime. Therefore, MOCADSV qualifies as a single feasible source because they are the only entity in the State of Missouri responsible for domestic and sexual violence training, technical assistance, and program monitoring project services as approved by the FVPSA grant.
