The Town of Vernon, Connecticut is seeking proposals from a qualified contractor with the ability to furnish, temporarily store and deliver, as well as the option for installation at least fifty (50) and no more than seventy-five (75) various native species trees for assorted municipal, residential and business locations as part of the Live Here-Love Trees Tree planting project. The selected contractor shall also provide all labor, materials and equipment associated with this project. Trees shall have a one-year warranty guaranteed by contractor, and must be planted between May 2025 and June 2026. Contractor will furnish, temporarily store and deliver, as well potentially install: 1. Green Mountain Sugar Maple (Acer Saccharum) trees 2. Pink Flowering Dogwood (Cornus Florida var. Rubra) trees 3. Alternate-leaf dogwood (Cornus Alternifolia) trees 4. American Sycamore (Platanus Occidentalis) trees 5. European Sycamore/ London Planetree (Platanus x Acerifolia) trees
