Plumbing Engineering i. Electrical Engineering (including Short Circuit Study and Arc Flash Study) j. Basic Commissioning specifications and plans shall be provided for all code-required commissioning. The Owner may also hire a third-party Commissioning Agent to plan and perform additional “specialty” commissioning for envelope systems, etc. k. Fire Alarm (Criteria for Delegated Design) l. Fire Protection Engineering (Criteria Delegated Design) m. Structural Engineering n. Civil Engineering o. Low Voltage Design p. a. Audio Visual Systems and Miscellaneous Displays q. b. Telecom and Data Backbone – Coordination with Owner’s Vendor r. c. Security Design including perimeter entry, card access systems, CCTV s. d. Wireless Access Points t. Landscape Design u. Irrigation Design (Criteria for Delegated Design) v. Acoustical Design w. Cost-neutral, energy-efficient/sustainable features shall be incorporated to the greatest extent possible. x. Furniture: Furniture Space Planning, Coordination of Colors/Finishes/Fabrics, Procurement assistance/coordination with the Owner y. Signage Design: wayfinding, interior and exterior z. Building Interior Art locations and recommendations aa. Kitchen / Breakroom Equipment Design (if required) bb. Public Agency Interface: All pre-planning required for AHJ Approvals and permitting cc. MEPFP, AV, Specialty Systems Estimating dd. Code Analysis: Overall building and life safety code reviews to be conducted by all disciplines. All meetings with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ’s) to confirm code interpretations and design assumptions and to pre-plan for permitting. ee. Presentations to the Board: One Presentation per Design Phase ff. Typical Construction Phase Administration and Code required Commissioning. gg. Provide professional photographs of the finished project, in digital format to the Owner and the Owner’s Representative for their use. hh. At the completion of the project, incorporate all project change directives (proposal requests, ASIs, CCDs) into the electronic project drawings and provide a final set to the Owner in both pdf and CAD format. 3. Services NOT Required: a. Third-Party Sustainability Certifications b. Environmental abatement 4. Owner will provide: a. Owner Representative Services through NAVIGATE b. Construction Materials Testing c. Geotechnical Services d. Survey e. Hazardous Materials Assessment/Environmental Abatement
