The Delaware Veterans Home is required to have licensed therapist to provide treatment and consultation to residents as authorized by the physician and within the parameters of the residents approved care plan as determined by assessments and the interdisciplinary team. The therapists will provide services within the guidelines designated by the Delaware Veterans Home policies and procedures. The therapists will collaborate with the Delaware Veterans Home leadership, staff and other practitioners and consultants to help develop, implement, and evaluate resident care that reflects current standards of care. In addition, they will request supplies and equipment through proper facility channels. Therapists will complete appropriate MDS sections through the electronic medical records software. Therapists will be responsible to assist the Delaware Veterans Home to maximize reimbursement for billable services.. III.
