The District is looking for full-service mattress and box spring recycling. The Bidder shall provide all personnel, equipment, and materials to process the materials collected at the District facilities and shall be responsible for all costs associated with performing the service. Bidders should explain their mattress and boxspring recycling process in detail. The District will transport the mattresses in a container and dump them at the contractor’s processing facility. No material handling will be completed by the District staff once dumped. The exact location of processing facility should be included. If the facility is more than 20 miles from out Drop-Off Centers, we will need to discuss hauling details prior to bid selection. If the Bidder would rather make other hauling arrangements, please include those details within the bid. The bidder shall provide all personnel, equipment, and other resources for the processing of the recyclable materials.
