The City of Waupaca seeks proposals to provide cellular service to employer provided phones and internet devices. These devices are assigned to employees for public safety and city operation needs and provide internet access in city squad cars. The last time the city went through a proposal process was in February 2019. The city is seeking to make some changes to how devices are assigned to employees, which will increase the number of devices on our plan. Considering this change and the amount of time that has lapsed since our last proposal process, the city would like to review current available options to make sure our cellular plan is both economical and of high quality to meet city operations. Summary of City Cell Plan: Total # of Devices: 39 # “Flip” Phone: 1 # Smart Phones: 24 (Currently all iPhones) (5 Smart Phones will need Hot Spot) # iPads: 1 # Hot Spot Devices: 3 # Cradle Point Devices needing SIM cards: 10 All devices to have a minimum of unlimited talk, text, data and nationwide coverage.
