The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, and materials to perform the following services: General Natural Grass e Mowing: Maintain grass height as recommended for each sport, typically between 1.5 - 3 inches. e Edging & Trimming: Regularly edge along walkways, fences, and field perimeters. e Blowing & Cleanup: Remove debris from fields, dugouts, and surrounding areas after each maintenance service. e Aeration: Perform core aeration a minimum of twice annually (spring and fall) to improve soil compaction and promote root growth. Fertilization & Weed Control e Soil Testing: Conduct annual soil analysis to determine nutrient deficiencies and PH levels. e Fertilization Program: Apply appropriate fertilizers based on soil test recommendations and field conditions. e Weed Control: Implement pre-emergent and post-emergent weed control applications to minimize invasive species. Pest & Disease Management e Insect & Disease Control: Monitor and treat grass for pests and diseases as needed to ensure optimal field conditions. Irrigation & Drainage Management e Irrigation System Inspection: Inspect and adjust irrigation systems monthly for proper coverage and functionality. e Repairs & Adjustments: Repair broken or malfunctioning irrigation heads, valves, and pipes as needed per project quote. e Drainage Maintenance: Ensure drainage systems remain functional, clearing blockages and repairing as necessary.
