2.1. The fireworks will be shown on July 4, 2025, beginning approximately between 9:00 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. with the exact time to be determined by the City and the Contractor on site. However, if inclement weather is approaching, an earlier show time will be mutually determined by the City and the Contractor on site. The display will be held at the Cityowned property at Medical Center Parkway and Gateway Blvd, Murfreesboro, Tennessee. A map of the area is attached (Exhibit A). If inclement weather prevents the presentation of the display on this date, the City and the successful bidder will meet and discuss postponement. If the mutually satisfactory postponement date is beyond the day following the scheduled exhibition, and the successful bidder is required to return to its point of origin, then the City shall have the option of paying an additional charge for transportation and travel of material and personnel to the display site, not to exceed fifteen percent (15%) of the contract price, or the City may terminate the contract with no obligation to pay the remaining balance of the sum to be paid. In this case, the deposit is to be returned to the City, less any and all reasonable costs and expenses incurred by the successful bidder in anticipation of presenting such display, including but limited to costs associated with set-up and takedown of equipment (if, and only if, the bidder has actually set up the equipment prior to the decision to postpone the display) and transportation of materials and personnel. 2.2. By submitting a bid, a bidder represents that bidder has visited and inspected the site and has the ability to safely provide an electronically fired fireworks display at the specified location. 2.3. Bidder further represents that bidder has qualified personnel available including a qualified pyrotechnician to provide the show on the date scheduled. If a gas-run generator is needed to power the electronic firing board, the bidder is responsible for providing this equipment and any other equipment or supplies necessary to provide the fireworks display. 2.4. The successful bidder will be required to provide all shells, equipment, supplies and personnel for the show, along with all permits and licenses required by the City, State, or other regulatory authority. Safety glasses or goggles, hearing protection, or similar safety protection are to be included. 2.5. The successful bidder shall be responsible for all shells and equipment from the time of the arrival of the shells and equipment upon the show location until removal of all shells and equipment from the show location.
