The State Park Service of the South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism currently owns the Old Visitor’s Center (which includes a restroom facility, storage areas and beach area) located at Dreher Island State Park, near Prosperity, SC in Newberry County. It is the intent of the State Park Service to lease this facility and its operation to an individual or entity. Property Permissions Offeror is granted permission to make use of only the facilities, structures, areas, grounds and equipment specifically authorized in this contract. Offeror will be granted the use of the existing parking area Dreher Island State Park. Such permission or use does not and shall not be construed or constitute or imply any transition of ownership or equity to Offeror. All other facilities, structures, areas, grounds and equipment including but not limited to all docks, parking lots and walkways shall remain under the authority and control of Owner. Offeror shall not impede access or attempt to regulate in any manner use of facilities, structures, areas, grounds or equipment under the authority and control of Owner. Offeror shall report to Owner any use or activities on or around such facilities, structures, areas, grounds or equipment that it deems unsafe, inappropriate or in violation of any law, regulation or ordinance.
