1. The Board of Pilot Commissioners for the Bays of San Francisco, San Pablo, and Suisun, hereinafter referred to as the “BOPC,” an agency of the State of California, licenses and regulates approximately sixty (60) maritime pilots who guide large vessels on the Bays of San Francisco, San Pablo, Suisun, Monterey, and navigable tributaries to Stockton and Sacramento. The pilotage ground covers Seventy (70) separate terminals in ten counties. This Agreement is one of (TBD) multiple provider contracts for Maritime Investigator Services (Commission Investigator). This Contractor’s rank is (TBD). The BOPC will contact Contractors by telephone in rank order to determine availability and commitment to completing an assignment as follows: A. Contractor shall respond to the BOPC’s telephone query within fifteen (15) minutes of the call. B. Contractor shall confirm commitment to provide onsite response within the four (4) hour time window designed by the BOPC for the specific incident
