NYSTRS is seeking quotes for investigative services, specifically location services and “Alive and Well” checks. These services may be needed in any region of New York or other states; the majority will be in New York State with the possibility of international assignments. The majority of cases we send will be for individuals with whom we have lost contact and are unable to locate using traditional methods; we will require current contact information or a date of death if they are deceased. In addition to location services, we may request an on-site visit with a beneficiary recipient to determine the individual is alive and continuing to receive their monthly benefit payment. The investigator shall make every attempt to contact the benefit recipient ahead of time in order to schedule a convenient time for them to meet. The investigator will confirm the individual’s identify and determine that benefit payments are being received on the individual’s behalf.
