Furnish and deliver struvite inhibitor for the Department of Environmental Services, City and County of Honolulu, Honolulu, Hawaii. Struvite inhibitors are used at wastewater treatment facilities to prevent the formation of struvite (magnesium ammonium phosphate, "МАР") scale in pipes, pumps, and equipment. Struvite can form when wastewater contains high levels of magnesium, ammonium, and phosphate, which often occurs in treatment plants processing anaerobically digested sludge. The struvite inhibitor is used to prevent the formation of struvite in the following areas of the Honouliuli Wastewater Treatment Plant: A. Struvite inhibitor injection point; B. Centrifuge sludge feed piping; C. Centrifuge equipment; D. Centrifuge centrate piping; and E. Wastewater facility's sanitary sewer system at the centrifuge sludge centrate contact point(s).
