Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of a bioprinter from Cellink as a sole source because of the uniqueness (design, capability, nature) of the goods and the contractor being the single provider of the goods. Bioprinter must allow printing of multiple biomaterials, cell types, and/or bioinks, in one printing round to accurately replicate the native tissue environment, print in a sterile, cell-friendly environment to ensure cell viability, print with different bioprinting modalities such as pneumatic, mechanical, coaxial, and inkjet, print up to 6 different bioinks in one printing round to capture the different cell types and ECM found in native tissue microenvironment, print in petri dish, glass slides, and in up to 384 well plates, and have printing capabilities in both layerwise, and in non-planar freeform extrusion, allowing replication of the intricate native tissue microarchitectures. Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification.
