Vendors are invited to bid unit prices on a term agreement for landscaping services for various parks for Indianapolis Department of Parks and Recreation in Marion County, IN. Other departments and agencies of the City may also utilize this contract. All orders shall be on an as needed basis, subject to the availability of funding and budgetary considerations. All pesticides used must be non-restricted use (non-RUP's) and applied in compliance with all state and federal regulations. Remove all weeds from flower beds during each monthly visit to maintain a weed-free appearance. Apply pre-emergent herbicides in early spring and late fall prior to mulching to suppress weed growth. Contractor shall apply Snapshot 2.5TG pre-emergent herbicide, or pre-emergent name brand alternative, containing Trifluralin and Isoxaben, to all designed flower beds.
