It is the intent of the School District of Newberry County to establish a contract for a qualified contractor to provide pest control services district wide. Pests List Ticks Water Bugs Hornets Silverfish Rats Mice Fleas Roaches Scorpions Bees Lice Ants Wasps Spiders Treatments All treatments shall be provided in the pricing on the Bidding Schedule. a. Annual Treatment All facilities of the District (including student classrooms) shall be completely treated on an annual basis. This treatment shall take place during the weeks of June each year when the District is only open Monday through Thursday each week. b. Monthly Treatment The following areas shall be treated on a monthly basis, July – May: ➢ Facility A: kitchen, serving line area, dining area, garbage storage room, can wash room, food/supply area, dishwashing room, food service wash room ➢ Facility B: office area, restroom, lounge, custodial/supply closet, water fountain area, concession/canteen area, dumpster/surrounding area, bookroom, drink machine area, home economics room, basement, kindergartens ➢ Facility C: stadiums and athletic facilities, ball field areas w/concessions, restrooms, concessions serving/vending area, food preparation area, food supply area, dumpster/surrounding area c. Emergency Treatment Contractor shall respond within 24 hours of notice to service requests for emergency treatment for any area which may arise between visits.
