6.2.1. This specification contains information regarding the procurement and service of the following: a. Reverse Osmosis Membranes for the Sterling-Berkefeld 150 gpm 2-stage, double pass Reverse Osmosis (RO) Skids. b. Reverse Osmosis Membranesfor the H2O Innovation 100gpm 2-stage double pass RO. iLEC Membranes c. Memtek Microfiler Membranes for the Waster Water Microfilter Skid, Memtek Part Number W2T520492, Membrane, RO4x72” 4-Tube Sched 40 PVC 1” PT d. Mercury Special Media Resin and Tank for the Mercury Polishing System. OEM Part Number W5TWXSCU0360FSRWD 3.6ft3 Special Media Tank. One Tank of Resin, in the tank rented for 28 days. 6.2.2 RO (Reverse Osmosis) Membrane Requirements: The RO skid as designed to use Dow Chemical/Filmtec Membranes. Membranes not matching the specification of the Filmtec design have not performed satisfactorily. Offerors will be allowed to inspect the systems during the pre-bid meeting. The following membranes are needed. a. MEMBRANE FILMTEC BW30 PRO-400/34 DRY, OEM# W2T906323 b. MEMBRANE FILMTEC BW30XFRLE-400/34 DRY,OEM # W2T827298 c. Filmtec BW30PRO-400/34i-Membrances (iLEC seal configuration and Fouling Resistant) d. Filmtec BW30HRLE-440i Membranes (iLEC seal configuration and Fouling Resistant) 6.2.3 Off site cleaning testing and biocide treatment. Clean membrane at vendor’s facility. 6.2.4 Removal and Installation of Membranes On Site Labor. Contractor is to remove dirty membrane and install clean membranes. Membranes on side and left on site. Historically has taken one day on site to swap out clean and for dirty membranes. 6.2.5 Memtek Membrane Requirements. The memtek skid was designed to use US Filter (now Evoqua) Membrane Tubes. Offerors will be allowed to inspect the systems during the pre-bid meeting. a. OEM Part number W2T520492, Membrane, RO 4x72” 4 Tube Schedule 40 PVC 1” PT. 6.2.6 Mercury Waste Water Ion Exchange Requirements. The system was designed to use Evoqua W5TWXSCU0360FSRVD 3.6ft 3 Special Media Tank. The system has two special media tanks. Offerors will be allowed to inspect the systems during pre-bid meeting. The special media tanks are rented on a monthly basis, delivery fee, resin processing fee and Hazmat pickup fee. 6.2.7 Non-conformance to contract conditions. Any and all items may be tested and/or inspected for compliance with specifications. Items, which are not in conformance with specifications, may be rejected and returned at vendor’s expense. Failure to meet specifications may result in termination of contract with as little as 30 days notice.
