MCC is seeking bids from qualified vendors to provide A Canvas-integrated, accessibility checker that provides faculty coaching and remediation guidance to fix detected accessibility issues in Canvas content and in files uploaded to Canvas. The tool will also provide downloadable alternative formats for Canvas pages and documents, as well as course-level and institutional reports and dashboards. The tool should include or provide a module to scan websites and report on, and provide guidance to remediate, accessibility compliance issues detected on a website. to be used online throughout the Metropolitan Community College district. Additionally, the ability to scan for and remediate content in Canvas and on MCC websites will help MCC maintain compliance with governmental regulations.
