For FY25, April 2025 – June 2025, EOPSS is seeking proposals from Statewide Contract PRF76 for a qualified vendor to work with personnel at the State Police Crime Lab (OAT) and EOPSS IT to document the existing Breath Alcohol Testing System (BATS). The services requested for this engagement are a current state assessment of the breath test system and associated applications. The resulting documentation produced will be utilized in preparation for a larger project to modernize the backend systems that are used to process breath test transactions. While we are requesting that the Breath Alcohol Testing System (BATS) be documented, the request is not to assess or provide alternatives to the current Draeger 9510 instruments which will continue to be the breath testing instrument used by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
