This Contract is for dredging infilled material (shoals) above the authorized navigation channel or berthing depth, on an as-needed basis, to be determined by the Port of Seattle (Port) through issuance of a Work Authorization(s). Work generally includes the following: Mobilization of construction equipment and materials to the Project Site as required to complete the Work. Project Site preparation activities, including construction (if applicable) and setup of the Contractor Transload Facility(ies) and the Contractor-provided Staging and Stockpile Area(s) for the management, transport, and disposal of various materials (Dredge Material) and implementation of temporary erosion and sediment controls and water collection and treatment management practices.
