This initiative will provide comprehensive support to local entrepreneurs, new business start-ups, and existing small businesses, particularly underserved and marginalized members of the community. The Selected Consultant will be responsible for creating a strategic framework that aligns with Bloomfield’s economic development goals, fosters entrepreneurship, promotes business retention and expansion, and strengthens commercial corridors through financial assistance for storefront revitalization. The Selected Consultant will design and launch “Elevate Bloomfield” - Small Business Investment Support Program that: • Encourages entrepreneurship and new business start-ups. • Provides technical assistance, mentorship, and educational resources to help businesses sustain and grow. • Supports existing small businesses by offering guidance on financial stability, marketing, and operational efficiency. • Develops a storefront revitalization program to help property and business owners enhance commercial spaces. • Promotes job creation by supporting businesses in workforce development and hiring strategies.
