The scope of work for this project consists of: I. Ceilings, Lights -Demolish existing drop ceiling tiles, grid system in the waiting room, and vending machine vestibule. -Properly lock out and tag out power supply to ceiling lights. Disconnect and demolish all recessed can lights, inverted bowl pendant light fixtures. -Retain existing crown molding and take extraordinary care to preserve existing sprinkler heads, speakers, and other fixtures installed in ceiling. -Prep ceiling areas to receive new drop ceiling system in waiting room and vending machine vestibule. -Waiting room drop ceiling shall accommodate new recessed LED light fixtures, new pendant LED fixtures, and tin metal drop ceiling tiles. -Tin metal drop ceiling tiles shall comply with applicable safety and fire codes. Tiles shall be lightweight in nature and each tile shall be 2’x2’. Pattern and finish of tiles shall be at the Contractor’s discretion provided tiles serve to reflect light from new pendant fixtures while contributing to the context of finished waiting room...
