Washington County Sheriff’s Office invites bids for the outfitting of Police Vehicles to be equipped for law enforcement use. The vendor must outfit newly purchased police vehicles according to the specifications outlined by the Sheriff’s Office, ensuring compliance with all applicable industry standards and best practices. This includes, but is not limited to, installing emergency lighting, sirens, electronics, radio communication systems, secured vaults, and prisoner transport equipment. The vendor will procure the specified equipment outlined in the purchase order and install it into the newly purchased vehicles. Additionally, the Sheriff’s Office may provide previously owned vehicle equipment, such as radios and computer equipment, for installation by the vendor.
