The project shall entail the planning phase of the Plaza to effectively create a municipal campus. Currently, there are some points of connectivity between all properties which is neither cohesive nor comprehensive. The planning phase shall involve a feasibility study, needs assessment, and significant public engagement that will inform the design of the Plaza campus. The planning phase shall also produce base mapping (boundary and topography) in addition to the preliminary design, which includes engineering/architectural, landscape and drainage. These components will be the deliverables of current funding. The desired outcome is to enhance accessibility for residents and visitors within the Plaza campus by establishing walkways between all properties, and to develop existing open space for educational programming and community events. Motor vehicle access and parking options within the Plaza campus shall also be considered.
