2.1 General Requirements: 2.1.1 The contractor shall provide training courses regionally across Missouri for law enforcement and first responders who have been involved in a critical incident. The training courses should be comprehensive for the first responder and their significant others (i.e. someone with whom the first responder has a long-term relationship with) for the Department of Public Safety in accordance with the provisions and requirements stated herein and to the sole satisfaction of the state agency. a. In addition, train the trainer courses should be provided regionally to train peer supporters to cover mental health concerns of those who could respond to critical incidents, disaster and other crises. 2.1.2 The contractor shall either provide the services directly or shall provide a person/personnel who must comply with the requirements stated herein. Therefore, references to “the contractor” throughout this document shall also be deemed to include the person/personnel provided by the contractor. 2.1.3 Contractor’s Obligation: Unless otherwise specified herein, the contractor shall furnish all material, labor, facilities, equipment, and supplies necessary to perform the services required herein.
