● Supply, maintain, and operate 7D-registered pupil transportation vehicles 2 with various seating capacities, ● Supply licensed, qualified drivers and bus monitors; and ● Comply with all relevant Commonwealth of Massachusetts and City of Boston requirements for 7D Transportation , including laws pertaining to car 3 seats . Description of Private Transportation, a.k.a. “Rides”: a. School Day Rides: In general, students will need to be picked up at their residential location in the morning and dropped off at their assigned school within their schedule. They must be 7 picked up at school in the afternoon/evening and dropped off at their residential location. b. Other rides: Students may also need private transportation on weekends, during school vacations, or for summer programs. 8 c. Rides for Students with Particular Needs: Some students require specific accommodations based on their individualized needs. These can include, but are not limited to, a monitor, wheelchair-accessible vehicle, or specialized harness/”buckle buddy.”
